Adele rocks Vietnamese designer dress at Las Vegas concert, and it’s not her first time

‘Weekend 31,’ the English singer on Sunday wrote on her verified Facebook account while posting photos capturing moments from the 31st show of her ‘Weekends with Adele” residency at the Colosseum at Caesars Palace.

The residency is a series of Friday and Saturday night shows, which began on November 18 last year and is scheduled to wrap up on November 4 this year.

In the photos, the singer is seen in a dress designed by Cong Tri, a luxury brand owned by renowned Vietnamese designer Nguyen Cong Tri, whose designs have been worn by stars from around the world several times in recent years.

“Adele chose a Swarovski-adorned velvet dress customized by Cong Tri for a performance at the ‘Weekends with Adele’ live show in Las Vegas, USA,” the brand announced on its verified Facebook account on Tuesday.

This is not the first time Adele has chosen a design by Cong Tri for a concert.

Earlier, in February of this year, the brand proudly announced Adele picked up a Cong Tri dress for the ‘Weekends with Adele’ concert residency.

“Adele was stunningly gorgeous in a customized Cong Tri design, performing at the ‘Weekends with Adele’ live show in Las Vegas,” the brand wrote on its website.

“The black gown was crafted in sumptuous sequins with a refined A-line silhouette, accentuating Adele’s alluring figure and ultimate elegant beauty.”

According to the brand, it took the craftsmen thousands of working hours to create the sparking firework-pattern details on the dress.

He earned a bachelor’s degree in industrial design in Ho Chi Minh City in 2001.

A big name in the local fashion industry, the acclaimed designer has had his outfits picked up by both Vietnamese celebrities and world-class stars including Adele, Rihanna, Katy Perry, Gwen Stefani, Jacqueline Fernandez, and Margot Robbie.
