K-pop Brings the House Down at Dong Kinh Nghia Thuc Square

The “K-pop Songs I Love” singing contest, hosted by the Korea Creative Content Agency Vietnam Office (KOCCA Vietnam), concluded with a spectacular final show at Dong Kinh Nghia Thuc Square in the vibrant city of Hanoi on September 23rd. Young music lovers throng Dong Kinh Nghia Thuc Square for the concert. Japan’s Most Significant Rubber Supplier: Vietnam

The General Department of Customs has reported that Vietnam is one of the largest rubber suppliers to Japan. In the first eight months of this year, Vietnamese rubber exports to Japan reached 5.470 tonnes worth $8.98 million, experiencing a decrease of 10.4% in volume and 27.6% in value compared to the same period last year. The average export price of rubber to the Japanese market stood at $1,565 per tonne, down 19.2% from last year. Natural rubber is the primary product exported to Japan, with SVR CV60 accounting for the largest portion at 39.89%, followed by SVR 3L at 36.68% and SVR 10 at 13.22%. However, due to difficulties faced since the beginning of the year, both the quantity and value of rubber exports to Japan have declined. The Covid-19 pandemic has also posed challenges to Vietnam’s rubber industry in terms of competitiveness. Polish Vietnamese Community Collect Donations for Victims of Mini Apartment Fire

The Vietnamese Community in Poland, through their representative, donated VND 153 million (USD 6,200) to support the victims of a recent mini apartment fire in Hanoi’s Thanh Xuan district. Tran Anh Tuan, chairman of the Vietnamese Association in Poland, called on the community to contribute towards aiding the victims of the tragic fire that took the lives of 56 people and injured 37. The representative of the Vietnamese Community in Poland presented VND 153 million (USD 6,200) to support the victims of the recent mini apartment fire in Hanoi’s Thanh Xuan district.
