The Japan Foundation Center for Cultural Exchange in Vietnam will host the annual Japanese Film Festival in Vietnam later this month to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Establishment of Diplomatic Relations between Japan and Vietnam. Many people spend a sleepless night taking the water out of their homes. Local residents put things up high to avoid damage by floodwater. A hospital in Da Nang is flooded.
